Every Hour Helps
Wild Acre Rescue is run entirely by volunteers. Because our cats and dogs are cared for in private foster homes rather than a shelter, we're not able to offer hands-on volunteering placements with the animals directly — but there's still a huge amount you can do to help. It's with the biggest thanks to our volunteers that we're able to keep going.

Volunteering FAQs
Unfortunately not — our animals are cared for in private foster homes rather than a shelter, so we're not able to offer hands-on volunteering with them directly.
Our charity shops always need volunteers, and we're always grateful for help with fundraising, transporting animals to and from the vets, or spreading the word.
Get in touch with a bit about yourself and how you'd like to help, and we'll take it from there.
